The Mad River Valley is comprised of primarily four towns in north-central Vermont. Saddled between two stretches of the Green Mountains, the Mad River flows north along route I-100 and through Warren, Waitsfield, Fayston & Moretown. Outlying towns include Duxbury to the north, Roxbury to the east, Lincoln & Bristol to the west and Granville/Hancock to the south.
The Mad River Valley is home to both Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas, Sugarbush Golf Club and a host of outdoor activities ranging from hiking the Long Trail and the Green Mountain National Forest to kayaking the Mad River, Cross-Country skiing across a beautiful meadow or stretch of pines, Biking down tree canopied roads or simply basking in the sun of a Vermont meadow.
